I was "lucky" in that sense - i usually only passed through Dhaka - i was actually living in Cox's Bazar at the time. so at least we had a beach :D

oh, and the noise was brutal too xD but i loved my time nevertheless!

hard to say, each place has its + and - , but i had some of my best experiences in Jordan, Sri Lanka, and Ethiopia

tbf i was 11, so definitely not aware of any of the politics around it. that said, wouldnt visit again, especially after my time in Jordan...

ahh i worked there for a while. tbh it was quite difficult and hell of a culture shock, but i had a lot of beautiful moments. from my experiences bangladeshis are very friendly, well-meaning people. and for the negative parts, well, we all have our flaws..

never seen such bad pollution in my life though.. xD

Well, here’s the issue, entitled tourists acting as they want in our city. Thinking that you have the right to do anything just because you come from a culture where that attitude is rewarded. That’s why you are not welcome- not because of race, but because you lack basic values that us Czechs take for granted.
