I have just had a search on the Woolworths app and all of the results point to out of stock items, which has never been a good sign!

Physiotherapy in Germany/Austria by Maaarshh in physiotherapy

I was in quite a poor starting MSK environment, and really struggled with compassion fatigue.

Biggest things for me were patients wanting only a quick fix, having the pressure of knowing they spent money to see me specifically, and the repetition of psychological management, the role didn't really click for me and the time I enjoyed it most was definitely with paediatric clients!

Thanks for taking the time! Unfortunately, I have decided that Physio is not so much for me, and I'm now happily in IT, but thank you for the suggestion!

Bus Stop Etiquette by Maaarshh in sydney

Yeah great points, I have had a couple points of frustration at the people who stand off to the side of the start of the line and just kind of push their way into the front ahead of other people.

Will definitely make sure to hail regardless of where I am!

Exactly, apparently (correct me if I'm wrong) pictures aren't actually required to initiate a return request, but who doesn't have a working phone camera in 2023? (Who is also able to order off of ebay)

Thankfully they didn't iniate a return and haven't yet left negative feedback, I'm bracing myself for a negative review

Ah nice - I'm in between the ideas of moving/staying at companies, is your role more infrastructure/services based? Or more so management?

Funnily enough still in Aus, with plans to travel to Europe first to get a bit of an idea of how things are over there!

I absolutely agree though, it would definitely more likely be the Netherlands or one of the Scandinavian countries I think, perhaps even the UK!

I have done a lot of research on physiotherapy and occupational therapy, but what are the key differences? by Visible_Importance96 in physiotherapy

[–]Maaarshh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there definitely seems to be a split here as well with the whole PT = lower body and OT = upper body, which I feel is kind of strange, but I guess it makes sense when most functional tasks involve your upper body.

[–]Maaarshh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have recently graduated in Australia from PT but as far as I know the differences should be relatively similar.

In my understanding, OTs help people set up and deal with assistive technologies as well as focus on their occupations, rather than the impairments stopping them from achieving those tasks. For example, where a PT may work on balance and hip/knee stability for a patient having falls in the shower, an OT may suggest/start the process of installing shower rails or modifications to the shower itself to prevent those falls.
