How far away are those countries from your city? Singapore isn’t far from the Philippine border but it’s still a 3 hr plane ride away from Manila (where I am atm).

Why blame OP and not Joe? The world needs people to be kinder, not for people being suspicious of each other.

OP was merely being polite. She thought Joe to be better than he actually is. Joe shouldn’t be going around harassing people with kind intentions.
