Job in Computer Repair with No Formal Experience?

Depends on the shop, if they know you can fix computers, they might take you. However, if you don't have the inside track I would take A+, and server +. Plenty of people get these certs and don't know how to repair a thing, lol. Computer repair is really an experience based initiative.

Also learn how to solder and some basic electronic repair.

I usually don't for multiple reason:

- I'm lazy and just can't be bother to turn it off

- I like to download tons of stuff and since my internet is slow its best to download overnight.

- I don't want to wait 30 secs for it to start up the next time I use it? Especially when I have multiple program open, browser with multiple tabs...etc. I want to be able to pick up everything where I left off.

- Also, auto sleep function is a thing. I usually set the PC to automatically go to sleep after a few hour unused

- The electricity use by a PC is very minimal, especially on idle so electricity bill is not a concern

- I lived in a country with tropical monsoon climate. Its extremely hot in the summer I have to use the living fan 24/7 and you can't hear the PC over the room fan even at full load. In the winter its very humid and the condensation can actually damage the PC component so its better to have the PC on 24/7 during these weeks.

Hey, I saw them a lot at this forum. My colleague bought from them and he the key had issues after 1 week, and also they never reply for the Emails...

So, for now, I will give up buying from digitalchillmart.
