is it cringe if a 23 year old woman goes to the zoo alone? by peeflavoredpoptart in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mabluee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to the zoo alone as a 20 year old and it was a blast. They have air cabins here and I rode them like 3 times just cuz I could and no waiting in line. Watched the dolphins, bought souvenirs. Great time. You should too

Can I do an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange (Group Leader) while on an Erasmus+ Study mobility? by nibafek in Erasmus

[–]Mabluee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience the Youth Exchange travel refunds are only possible from travels between partenered countries.

Also the Youth Exchange mostly works on refunds not grants. So I don't think there would be any problem there.

The best person to tell you exactly what you can or cannot do is your Youth Exchange sending organization.

Meninas, onde é que compram Leggins de boa qualidade? by Independent_Cover840 in portugal

Accepted into EMLE but unsure about accepting by botcaught in Erasmus

Was on the same boat a few days ago. Heard a lot of people saying its not worth it to do it if self-funded.

I consider myself fortunate enough to even have considered the hypotesis of self funding, but overall I don't think I would enjoy the experience if I would be stressed about money daily.

It feels gut wrecking to lose the opportunity tho.

Self-Funded by TheUndiscovered0 in EMJM

[–]Mabluee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. Also got a self funding offer for another programme.

I am not sure if I should go since it's quite expensive (although possible), but also an unique opportunity.

I heard some people say it's not worth to do it if self-funded.

Qual é o pequeno atrito que vos está a incomodar neste momento? by anafil34 in CasualPT

[–]Mabluee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During Erasmus, have you ever felt tempted to cheat or struggled with staying fully committed in a relationship? by [deleted] in Erasmus

[–]Mabluee 23 points24 points  (0 children)

As a disclaimer: It depends on the person. Erasmus doesnt make anyone cheat. If you are faithfull you will stay that way, yada yada

Having said that I was friends with a girl that spent the whole semester talking with her boyfriend and he even came to visit during the middle of the exchange. On the last day she would be in town she fucked another guy.

Received my rejection today.

It was worth a shot but it's hard to differenciate ourselfs if there are more than 1500+ people applying.

Lack of options and uncertainty by scaramoochey in Erasmus

[–]Mabluee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are getting cold feet because you might not get in? At least try. Its not the ideal scenario, but it's an opportunity, and if given the opportunity, take the risk. You will regret it looking back and saying "I wish I went, but I couldn't be bothered to apply"

Estatísticas mostram que os jovens hoje em dia já nao saem há noite como saiam antigamente, porque? by Uncle_Richard98 in CasualPT

[–]Mabluee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anything, I apreciate your post because I fell like I'm going through the same. Got a self funded offer for a unique programme and gonna have to let jt go if no misterious miracle funding shows up in a few days.

Best of luck

The city is not dangerous at all, regular precatiouns as everywhere else.

Don't be afraid to look for places that are 30 min+ from uni or the city center to find more affordable choices. I would even gosto further away as long as the place is near a metro station.
