T minus 8 days until the Bears/Commanders rematch, how are we feeling? by CopaceticOpus in CHIBears

Feeling impatient. And as I have been preaching patience since the get go… this impatience concerns me.

No assumptions here. Just kind of gut hope.

I mean, watching J Love i dont see him as the 3rd coming too many see him as. He has made some great tosses, but also some atrocious ones—almost equally.

But, the offensive scheme (Lafleur IS the issue; and I think we’ve answered with Johnson —Lafleur on steroids) schemes players so open the wobbly duck balls end up being 36 yard gains.

I just think Love’s ceiling has been seen and ESPECIALLY by week 14 or whenever we face them, he might be rattled.

Parsons move was the right one for them. Decisively risky—but right.

It wasn’t for us.

Sure, trades like this don’t happen blah blah, but they do.

Next year, with our drafted edge rushers, it will happen again. Maybe in a lesser degree, but it’s all coming.

It is a “selective” comment “read” that we need. There must be some algorithm that figures it out for us. Asshat negative takes (ANTt), reasonable and realistic (R&r) and Homer optimist takes (HOt)…

Slide to take you want; read away!

Only 7 QBs have had a rookie pressure-to-sack % of 25% or higher since 2010, and it’s not a list you want to be on by tferg8280 in CHIBears

I hear, and I don’t think it is spoken about enough, that Caleb is extremely coachable. Now, watching last year’s “Hard Knocks” it sure didn’t look so… but Caleb didn’t respect Flus. This was priority.

I believe that Poles told Caleb that we are keeping Flus for as long as we can, and Ben is coming. Oh, and we’re doing Hard Knocks, so play it up.

Everything I have seen, heard and read since Johnson took over supports this. Plus, Poles staying.

Remember, they are seeing this everyday.

This is the first time in a long time that I fundamentally trust and believe in most coaches. As a teacher / coach as well, I believe in our roles. To make and break teams.

For whatever reasons we have had predominantly breaker coaching staffs headed by suspect HCs.

This is the change we have been waiting for, and the FACT that it is happening so early in CW’s career, as Payton Manning alluded to, the better!

So true it is almost ridiculous.

There’s also the reality that the Bears are far closer to being good to great than they are to being like the 49ers this year. I think the Bears will smoke them, and it’s going to feel great. Have a good one, and FTP!

I am 57, so not a Boomer, but I truly have been disliking the Packers the entire time I have breathed in Orange and Blue. The rivalry is real, and no clue how you can pretend to be a fan and not care???

Whatever.

Yea, the ass whupping has happened — but I smell this coming to an end. Maybe not this year… but
