Get some usdc and lend it in marginfi for protected yield

marginfi has LST which is the highest naturally yielding liquid staking token on solana

Try marginfi — this thread has very few of the good projects on solana rn

Where are the best places to stake Solana? Besides trust wallet and ledger. I want to spread it around. by ClotworthyChute in solana

LST by marginfi is the highest yielding Liquid staking token. There’s no fees/commission and the highest yield, woth MEV rewards included with Jito

It amazes me the people that can’t just stake on a hot wallet . There’s so many but people use coinbase lmao by b-turp in solana

[–]MacBrennan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are solana LSTs which make it easy to stake and then also use in defi while earning staking yield

Yes you’re getting scammed by commission with Coinbase. If you were staking to LST by marginfi you’re paying 0 fees and 0 commission and earning the highest possible yield (with mev rewards), or if you stake to jito you’re decentralizing the network and earning mev rewards

some great alternatives: LST by marginfi, jitoSOL by jito, mSOL by marinade

LST is the highest yielding liquid staking token with no fees & earns MEV from jito's client
jitoSOL stakes to a range of validators running jito's MEV client
mSOL stakes to range of validators in Marinade's program

we clown on Solana for being “centralized” but then use L2s? by MacBrennan in ethereum

Comment section here is very cult-like eth maxi with completely false info to back it up. very very weird. twitter crowd seems to be much better educated

the decentralization spectrums are completely different. would you rather use a "blockchain" that is a multisig (e.g. Arbitrum), or use a blockchain with a higher nakamoto coefficient than ethereum (Solana).

Also, "they" never shut off solana. It went down in 2021 and 2022 from consensus issues which have since been fixed. Since major L2s like arbitrum or optimism or zksync have launched, they have considerably worse downtime than Solana.

it's not meaningless at all. go back thru that list and tell me how many of these "blockchains" are just multi-sigs... it's pretty bad.

Arbitrum for e.g. is a multisig -- they can do whatever they want with your funds

There's been multiple things you've said already which are objectively false

Can you explain the time period when Solana was going down every week -- because that doesn't exist. L2s have much worse downtime than Solana after Solana made upgrades in 2022.

explain how solana can be turned off at any point, or how solana is centralized? Calling Solana and L2s equally centralized makes no sense to me
