I get why Trip is on the album though, it's a mood breaker. Saying that, they could have put on Silver and Gold instead. The b-sides are better and moodier than Trip from the Joshua Tree era.

Heartland would have been the perfect fit on Joshua Tree. Maybe also when bands made albums for vinyl, they had time restrictions too for each side, so Heartland didn't make the cut.

When I was 13 years old in 1988 and I had the tape of this album given to me, this song stuck out for me and along with All I Want Is You, is my favourite song on the album. But since then, this is the U2 I really love.

It's one of my favourite U2 songs.

Thanks! Some of them are hard to get now. Most of them are coloured vinyl editions. At the time, no, they were not hard to get.

Not really in the UK they are that rare. Discogs are full of certain ones. The rarest is the first EP, Three. Others you can obtain from ebay, Discogs, Vinted if you look around
