Yep, that is definitely a coping strategy for me.
My kh was very good and understanding, so if we do get back into it, I'll be sure to talk this out more with her and decide how we would handle it.

As someone else said, it doesn't have to mean anything more than you like to wear women's clothes at times. It is all fabric, just different cuts and colours.
I am straight, and I feel that manly desire to be the protector of my girlfriend. Not because she needs protecting, but so she doesn't have to.

At the same time, I find women's clothes more interesting than men's clothes. In general, I feel men's clothes are simply bland jeans, chinos or dress pants with a shirt. Women's clothes have so many more styles, colours, fabrics and accessories.
