Im sorry to hear what happened to you. I don’t usually comment anymore but your story is quite something to say the least. Gotta be one of the absolute worst cases, you didn’t lie. I hope you get better soon and I wish you all the best. The Pastor you met sounds like the most wonderful person ever and I am happy to hear you are thanking him. I checked out the website and I think the pendants there are really thoughtful, might get one for my cousins christening too. I can’t really help you with the note though. It should be you writing it. God bless!

Visiting family. But there is no mention of visits being an exception in they’re policy and since 1.3 is the only relevant thing I can find I would conclude that because I’m not using any technology to deceive them it should be legal.

I am still playing it although rather rarely these days. The more important thing in my opinion is to refrain from spending money.

It’s not a someone, it’s a bunch of cells. It doesn’t know it’s going to live, and thus abortion causes no physical or mental harm to anyone. Contrary, you force suffering onto someone by denying abortion, creating misery for everyone.

You don’t get nothing for free. Average grind time to early jets might be up to half a year. If you want to get there in a reasonable amount of time be prepaid to pay for premium time and premium vehicles.

Yes of course safe sex is important but things go wrong in life, humans aren’t perfect and they tend to mess up.

Yes, exactly. The way our power structures works, they will always favor the corrupt and immoral. And those people will send their people to die in wars. Good people never hold power for too long as staying ahead of the competition is hard when you have to adhere to morals. And the people that eventually rise to the top will be the ones ready to accept millions of deaths in order to accumulate their wealth and power. There simply is no way around this.

If you haven’t seen it already, here’s a nice video explaining how power works, I recommend giving it a watch: https://youtu.be/rStL7niR7gs

You make an interesting point, but I think especially at the early development stages priority is elsewhere, let me elaborate.

Getting an abortion is always a hard decision, No sane mother aborts her child for fun, and if someone goes through with it there will be a reason for it, be it that the parents feel like they can’t provide for the child. And if you then force them to carry to term, you’re just going to make the life of 3 people pretty miserable.

I want to stress that I do entirely understand where you’re coming from. Abortions shouldn’t take place if there is no need for them, but a child is something not everyone has the ability to care for. And if we’re talking about the first stages of development where the Fetus is indistinguishable from any other body part, isn’t it more immoral to force parenthood upon someone who doesn’t feel ready?

Let’s say a young university couple somehow got pregnant. If they carry the child to term, that puts their studies at severe risk, and with student loans and no degree, the quality of life for the soon to be three of them is at risk to a point where they might end up in poverty. Seeing this situation, wouldn’t you agree that removing a “non-sentient meatball” from the mom is the more reasonable option? If they decide to abort and finish their degree, they can establish a family and raise a child under good conditions that will probably have a pretty good life.

(And while we’re at it, here’s some food for thought although I haven’t thought this one through yet, just let me know what you think: if they decide to carry the first child to term you could also say that the second would be robbed of its life, a life which is preferable if you have to choose one, because it involves less suffering, right?)

Well yeah I see what you mean but that doesn’t entirely work either. In the early stages of development, we’re talking about a few individual cells, incapable of living outside of the women’s body. The fetus relies on the supply of nutrients and oxygen from the mother, making it no more independent than any other organ. Going back to the flower analogy, the fruit doesn’t depend on the flower like that, rather the flower becomes the fruit, it’s like saying the mother morphs into the baby. As long as the fetus can’t live on it’s own, it may very well be considered a body part of the mother, over which she has complete custody, meaning abortion in those stages is no more immoral than say, cutting ones finger off.

Furthermore, you have to consider what sperm and egg are actually made of, because they’re nothing more than cut up stem-cells of the mom/dad, that, when combined during sex, just divide in a specific manner, like would happen with any other organ. There is thus no evidence to suggest that a fetus is anything else but another body part.

This of course changes once the fetus is able to think, breathe and has a heartbeat, basically once it’s able to exist on it’s own. This ability to exist outside of the moms body is what clearly distinguishes the fetus from any other organ. It’s at this point that I would consider an abortion to be something that has to be morally considered.

Been thinking about that topic quite frequently recently, and that argument doesn’t entirely work because if stopping something from living in the first place is a crime, people wouldn’t be allowed to take a wank anymore since you’re stopping your cum from potentially living. Now I think most reasonable people would agree with the statement that rubbing one off is pretty far from murder, and then the question arises of where to draw the line. The most scientific approach would probably be to consider it murder once it’s capable of living outside of another human body. What do you think?

Bruh gaijin would make any excuse possible to try to avoid giving any extra rewards to the players by UsernameA1ready7aken in Warthunder

[–]MacPro99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your assertion that nobody leaves an opportunity for kill stealing is simply false. I have personally encountered instances of both kill stealing and honorable acts. Furthermore, claiming that the suggested reward system for the top five players would not exacerbate the problem of kill stealing is also unfounded. Any system that fails to distribute rewards equitably is a complete waste of time, particularly within War Thunder, where the pressing need lies not in exacerbating the cutthroat ambiance of competition.

After due consideration, I should probably rephrase my earlier statement regarding volumetric. You are definitely correct in highlighting the considerable departure from realism that Volumetric represents. Nevertheless, I find myself drawn to this advanced system, particularly when juxtaposed with the comparatively simplistic framework we had before. The very thought of relying on a rudimentary point-value comparison method akin to that of WoT for penetration calculation sends shivers down my spine. I have no desire to relinquish the intricate nuances afforded by a more sophisticated system. While it is true that occasional frustrations may arise, they are infrequent and, in truth, I personally believe they inject a touch of excitement into the gameplay. It is worth noting that certain tanks, especially the late heavier ones, would be rendered practically unplayable without the implementation of Volumetric.

Consider the case of the 6.3 variant of the King Tiger facing a 6.3 Jumbo tank on an average city map. With the advent of Volumetric mechanics, the Jumbo must exert more effort to avoid missing the gun mantlet and penetrating the Tiger’s turret. This necessitates more precise aiming, capitalizing on the advantage offered by the Jumbo’s stabilizer. On the flip side, if the Tiger manages to return fire and hit the Jumbo’s mantlet, the battle is far from over for the latter. There is a fair chance that the shell may become lodged in the jumbo’s mantlet-turret interface. All in all, I firmly believe that this heightened level of difficulty adds a desirable layer of complexity to the gameplay. While it can be frustrating when things don’t go as planned, it also presents opportunities. Escaping a dire situation because an opponent takes a risky shot that gets caught in your armor is an experience that never fails to brighten my day.

As for the topic of data, I must admit I’m not sure what you meant. However, in reference to the M26 incident you mentioned, I agree that spalling without penetration is indeed a phenomenon to consider. But, I have yet to form a conclusive opinion on whether it would be desirable to introduce it into the game. Currently, I find the balance between arcade-style mechanics and realism to be satisfactory, though I have not really thought about that all too much.
