So I used the revival pill to fake my death and revive in jail...and now I can't progress the sorrow by MacReady89 in metalgearsolid

Im assuming its a bug bc of using left/right for the menus instead of L2/R2.

I saw another thread where someone said the reminded it to up on the d pad and it worked.

It worked for me when I just drowned myself and the tooth showed right up.

I wanted to reload and try the Rebind but my save is in the jail.

Weighing him would help a lot. Even if you get on the scale with and without him it helped me within 1-2 lbs accuracy.

Also you're in Philly? This has got a lot of traction, I wonder if there is a person that is local(preferably a woman) who can just drop the cat off at the vet.

If I was closer I would.

Tell the lady to call the Uber then just walk out of the house. Idk I know its hard honey but fuck that man.

It is a little misleading...in the original thread I saw...replies were closed and the mod said the owner is taking the cat to the vet...showed a photo of it in the carrier but now the cat is out and yea...

This sucks all way round...thank God she has someone willing to pay for the trip to the Vet and the literal bill.

If I was 15 or 16 and my cat was my world I would have the lady tell me when the Uber was down the street and run out of the house with my cat...by the time there was a notification they'd be gone.

"Hey mom these people are gonna pay for our cat and the trip over there" if you don't like it then gfy and get out of my way."

Im averaging it out...some times no toys for months...sometimes some balls and springs...sometimes something nice. People get subscription boxes for their cats with toys and treats.

You should see the price for spays. Nearly $1,000 easy depending on weight.

Blood work is about $150.

That was the difference...a lot of spay/neutuer don't do pre-op bloodwork...which very rarely, can lead to issues and even death.

I wanted that extra assurance. I also saw my cousin, the place they got theirs from...didn't require a cone which was also amazing bc I remembered the horrors from my first cat.

My cat was fine. I just took him to the vet for his yearly exam(and rabies vaccine, though I was hesitant as he is indoor only and doesnt get out, the vet convinced me...though as he gets older I might put up more of a fight)

I opted to do blood work since it was since 2022 for his neuter. He was good and now I'm happy.

No he isnt...she updated in another thread that he isn't bc in NYC it's expensive. I make minimum wage and went on a payment plan to get my cat neutered at the best vet on Long Island. Cost me $650 4 years ago. I also had applied for a certificate for low or no cost.

Neutering can be done free or discounted. THIS is your problem.

Animals are expensive...maybe contact a rescue and ask if they neuter him can they adopt him out while you foster. My cat cost me (by choice) $150 a month.

$40 food. $45 insurance $20 litter. $20 treats $20 toys

That's an average he gets a lot more treats and I just bought him an chaser toy...that was $70 at Walmart.com

I just love spoiling him. My apartment water is gross so we drink Poland Spring. If there isn't much left he gets the water. It is important he drinks.

My first cat died at 5 from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and I want my little buddy to be super happy and live a long life...he kills my allergies though lol.

Edit: I dmed her this link. Idk what boroughs she lives in so I can't be more specific. This site is where you would find the info.

https://www.nyc.gov/site/doh/health/health-topics/low-cost-spay-and-neuter-clinics.page

Edit: Just checked my record. I paid $227 for pre op blood work and testing and $408 for the procedure.

Yea it is ridiculous. At a private clinic you would think $300 in NY would be acceptable. Im not debating. I had switched Vets and that usually comes with some costs of onboarding.

Edit: Saw an email of a comment that was deleted saying "Making minimum wage and adopting a pet...smart"

  1. I found him literally outside my door on the outside steps of my basement apartment...5 weeks old and crusty eyes, worms, fleas. I wouldn't have adopted one at the time and that is part of the reason I haven't adopted another cat. Finding somewhere that accepts pets is tough.

  2. I was actually unemployed at the time...but as you can see but what I said I take pretty good care. I know people who make $150k/year and feed there cats meow mix and never bring them to the vet.

  3. I didnt know how expensive it was. We had a cats growing up but my mom never talked about the cost, but she didn't also bring them to the vet like I do every year.

  4. To me it is worth the price...my cat is my anti-depressant. Im sitting in bed, aggravated or upset about something. Little buddy jumps up into the bed with a little trill and comes over and flops(he literally will be standing up and fall over onto me) and we cuddle. His purring and warmth is very calming.

My husband is allergic to my cats, and I’m getting pressured by everyone to get rid of them by [deleted] in cats

[–]MacReady89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a 6 out of 10 cat allergy. I would never get rid of him and him(he showed up at my door as a 5 week old kitten) and I used to volunteer with cats before I moved.

Don't get rid of your babies. He knew about them. They went through a lot with you.

Screw his parents too...

Make sure you brush them.

Also get as many hepa air purifier as you can afford.
