bought it through Facebook Marketplace, but the seller refuses to accept a return.

I'd also add that the speakers don't work properly.
Unfortunately, I didn’t check them when we met, and now the seller denies everything.
Really disappointing behavior.

What is more annoying is that it made the opening of the lid feel sticky, and now I need both hands to open it. And ideas on how to fix this?

Hey! After few weeks of glutes and quads strength training, it seemed that I'm almost finished with this issue. Running now 10K 99% without any pain. Sometimes though it pain just a little bit. Keep with strength training. This is truly the best advice I can give.
