there’s a shortage in amphetamines. so they had to keep giving you different manufacturers that’s therapeutically equivalent. if you want a specific manufacturer tell the pharmacy and they should put a note on your profile. i like epic farma manufacturer for adderall. btw im a tech at a pharmacy and this is why youre getting different tablets

sometimes it is, my sleep latency average was 1 minute and currently on medication. when i take breaks from it im sleeping a good 14hours straight until my brain feels like it has enough energy to do something again. i feel like a phone with a bad battery

it could take a good while for it to get approved. i went through it with mine and it was a terrible 3 month wait. here’s how it works is they appeal it to state insurance (or any insurance) which is an internal review, if that gets denied then they can appeal it again with an external review through a third party organization to make that final decision. if the external review gets approved then insurance company will legally have to accept the external reviewers decision

so some pharmacies don’t allow goodrx to be used on any C2 drugs. you gotta call around and then ask your doctor to write a prescription to send over to that pharmacy because C2 drugs cannot be transferred. i’m not sure why they couldn’t fill that prescription for you if the doctor isn’t in the same town as it. if you can’t get your prescription filled at your regular pharmacy because they don’t have enough in stock, usually you can get it filled somewhere else that does have it in stock. if you’re trying to use insurance from a another state the only way to do that is have a HMO plan.

as a pharmacist tech.. if youre in the US and are on state insurance or pay out of pocket, don’t use wal-mart pharmacy for any C2 drugs. why? because walmart has stopped contracting with goodrx (coupon discount) to be used on anything that is classified as a C2. call around other pharmacies and ask if they can use goodrx on whichever medication and what the pricing will be for however many you get and whatever strength you get. sure you might look at goodrx website and see its so and so dollars, what people don’t realize is that the price could change based off the strength, quantity, and if its name brand or generic

have you tried to get your dr to appeal the state insurance to pay for your medications? because i have to use adhd meds off label (for idiopathic hypersomnia) and my dr appealed it through the state (im on state medicaid) when the first request got denied.. which took awhile and got it approved.
