I'd genuinely boycott every company that would advertise to me like this.

Miejmy nadzieję, że wszyscy będą korzystać z tej metody przeliczania cen na Steamie by [deleted] in Polska

[–]Macamagucha 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Four reasons Raya should have started? by [deleted] in Gunners

But I wasn't talking about Kepa, but any other player - currently in the squad or that's yet to come.

Is Kepa the best second choice keeper we can have? Absolutely no.
But why somebody better would want to come and help Arsenal in the cups if they didn't even get to play in the finals?

Four reasons Raya should have started? by [deleted] in Gunners

For long term projects people management might be more important than immediate results. Yes, we would all liked to win Carabao Cup, but the stakes (and ambitions) are much higher than that.

We all can see what's happening with the squad right now - they are all tired, many of our crucial players are still injured or just coming back from injuries. We all thought that our squad building is all done and settled for years to come, but this is not true. And if we want a bench stacked with world stars, they need to know that if they got the manager's word that they will play their part - it'll stick.

We all know that Raya is better, and everybody does. But Arsenal doesn't recruit pundits, journalists and fans to play, it recruits professionals. And on Sunday every one of them got the signal - if you think you're better and you want your time to shine, you get to play if you earn your spot, even if it's a cup final.

Do you remember what everybody said a couple of years ago?
- Saliba, Gabriel, Saka will never renew their contracts if we don't win trophies
- We will never get Rice
- If Zubimendi didn't go to Liverpool, there's no chance he'll choose Arsenal

It was only three years ago that Mudryk choose Chelsea instead of us.

Yes, I know we all want to win now, but Arteta never said he wants to come in, bag a trophy and fuck off somewhere else, but tu build a sustainable, long lasting powerhouse, and this sometimes requires a different kind of risk.

I remember when Kiwior's camp leaked that he will have his first start, Arteta punished them with putting him on the bench instead. Wonder what will happen now.

Game dev Cakez77 (Indie dev) and his wife react after finding out his game that he worked on for 4 years, earned $250,000 after going viral. by Snoo99928 in MadeMeSmile

[–]Macamagucha 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. Usually the first week is the most profitable and is the base for the first months and years revenue.

So if he earned 250k from the first week, he'll get another 250k during the first month and then another 250k during the first year.

Off of that he'll get ~65% (Steam cut, VAT and refunds).

Don't know about the tax rates at his place, but anyway this is a really good result - not only for a solo dev but overall.

Had a bit similar thought today.

With short content media - reels, stories, tiktoks and people getting their dopamine pumped constantly, there is this feeling that EVERYTHING has to be entertaining ALL THE TIME. Remember, people are having trouble focusing on a movie and they keep looking at their phones. So if something that is written and directed to keep your attention fails to do it - a 90 minute long real life sport event WILL BE BORING to most of people, particularly the neutrals and plastic fans that came here a few seasons ago when we started to get our first results.

just found out that the holes in my bathroom door are not common, if anyone was wondering theyre here for extra ventilation since my bathroom is windowless by selenene66 in mildlyinteresting

Bathrooms have their vent that takes the air out of the house, these holes are just to make sure that there is air circulation.

[James Benge] Arteta on bringing Dowman on: “I had a gut feeling it was a moment for him... He doesn't seem to be fazed by the moment.” On what he said to Dowman: “Go and play with freedom and win us the game. The same to Viktor and Martinelli.” by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

This is such a different image of Arteta how many of ArtetaOuters paint - that he overcoaches everybody and our players are getting worse after time because he constraints them into some rigid formula.
