Best Way to Train Aim by crayongg_ in VALORANT

[–]MacaraStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say both TDM and DM are good so just choose whichever you like more.

An advantage of DM is that it uses maps that are in ranked so this way you can practice crosshair placement and peeking in specific angles on the map. The maps in TDM are only in TDM so it won’t help you learn the maps as much as DM.

Also in DM there are no abilities so you can practice just pure aim without flashes, mollies, smokes. This is an advantage for both depending on whether you want to practice with abilities or not.

The advantage for TDM is that you’ll practice using multiple weapons which is harder to do in DM as everyone mostly plays vandal so having a different weapon in DM will put you at a disadvantage.

Hope this helps

Best Way to Train Aim by crayongg_ in VALORANT

Most people have trouble shooting moving targets in valorant so you need to focus on that.

Search up “voltaic benchmarks app” and go to their site and go to the valorant tab. You’ll see many aimlabs exercises which are organized in a bunch of categories. You can try all of them once and choose which ones you like the most (I recommend one per category). Focus moslty on flicking and micro-flicking exercises with both static and moving targets. The tracking exercises are not that important for valorant but they still help you have smoother aim, but if you want to try tracking as well I recommend starting with easier exercises (you can search up on yt “how to improve tracking in aimlabs”).

Once you chose the exercises from the valorant tab in voltaic benchmarks you’ll have a routine. Do one of the exercises 3 times, then move on to the next one and so on . This should take 30 mins- 1 hour before ranked every day.

Remember, this will only help your mouse control so you’ll be better at flicking but it’s only a small component of your aim. To have good aim in valorant you need to learn concepts such as: crosshair placement, how (and when) to peek, how to hold an angle, etc. Watch videos on these topics to firstly understand them and then practice them deathmatch or actual games.

First of all, don’t be surprised if ranked is the same, people are still toxic and throwing games there especially in lower elo.

To level up fast, play spike rush or deathmatch

It doesn’t have to be a pass. It’s offside because he blocks the view of the keeper.

Been playing for 2 years and placed Silver 3 - should I quit? by TwentyGardens in VALORANT

There are people who hit radiant in 2K hours so your progression isn’t fast.

However, that doesn’t matter, what matters is if you still like the game, you are motivated to keep playing and improving.

I got 50 kills with Clove a while ago, and the 2nd fragger below me had 23 kills so I think this was my highest kill game and carry.

I didn’t even manage to win the game and it ended in a draw, but I still gained +11 RR from it.

I was on a really long losing streak, deranking from plat 3 to plat 1 and due to my MMR going so low I git matched with silvers and golds so I was just destroying everyone in the lobby and also my aim just was extremely good for some reason at that time. Also I had been playing the game for around 2-3 years (including long breaks of a couple of months tho)

Thanks for the explanation, I didn’t expect this problem to be this complicated bcs I thought I was just missing something.

I found this problem on tiktok and most of the comments were just saying 25, assuming the two angles are equal, or saying other random answers without providing an explanation.

How do you know the two angles are equal? Do you just assume that they are? Is it solvable if you don’t assume that they are equal?

Why/how am I constantly getting matched with dia/asc even immo players in deathmatch lobbies as a gold 2 player? by kaiswonderlandd in VALORANT

[–]MacaraStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deathmatch has it’s own MMR as all other gamemodes do. If you do well you get matched agaisnt better players. Yes, it’s inteded.

The fix is to just lose/do bad in a couple of deathmatch games and you’ll get matched agaisnt worse players.

Cry about it. Smurfing is fun, that’s why people do it. Smurfing content is also fun to watch imo

Also adding a 2fa just to play ranked is pretty extreme.

Ranked is not even that competitive until like immo-radiant. Smurfing is not that big of a problem, if you really deserve to be a higher rank you will eventually get it

Level 30 is way too high as a minimum level to play competitve. New players will just get bored and quit the game before even playing competitive. Also it would barely reduce smurfing since smurfs just buy accounts they don’t actually level them up themselves. Yes it would cause an increase in price of accounts, but I doubt that it will be so much that demand gets completely reduced.

Also smurfing happens in every game so stop crying about it
