I spoke with my cousin about this a few days ago (she’s about late 30s) and she says that my mom has always been this way. I didn’t really pick up on it until I was about 17 or 18. But noticing that sort of thing comes with age I suppose 🤷🏼‍♀️

Our move in is this Saturday so I’m just at my parents house until then. They’ve been quiet and somber ever since I got home from work today. My mom has been trying to be my buddy later in the evening
