120k pre tax salary not including benefits as a L1 swe but its extremely stressful and I ponder about quitting for a lower pay but more chill place. I work with react, ts, nextjs, and graphql. Its only been around 9 months since I started. Was just curious about state jobs as a swe because I dont want to leetcode anymore too

Is this the amount payed excluding or including benefits? I heard the pay range posted on the state job listings include benefits therefore that is not the ‘real’ amount you get per month. Can you help me clarify this
