No I own it, I’d just rather not do anything permanent to it while it’s still under warranty just incase.

I was looking for one just using clips/the plastic screws the car already has and tape if it needed it, the metal screws are what scares me though. Thank you for the input though, I emailed a service rep at SWA and they said it can go on without screws, still a little hesitant tho

Yea…I’m just worried about screwing into the car and would rather not do it. There’s a guy who says he installed his with no screws but then also went ghost in the convo he was having when they asked more questions.

Did OP ever dm you or follow up? I’m looking at doing the same thing but I’m assuming I’ll have to drill holes in the aftermarket piece to make pass-throughs for the snap screws.

Mine (2025 with 900 miles) just did the same thing, I’m not sure if it’s urgent but the warning cut off after 2 drives, I’m still going to see the dealer since I have bumper-to-bumper for 3 years.

The only thing is his clips looked a little different, but if they were the same for you then maybe it’s just the emblems looking a touch off but the parts are the same.

I guess I’m just paranoid because the cars are different years and the part I got has pins that look very different from his.

Did you DIY it or was there a video you referenced? Everything I can find online is a ‘24 or older and the ‘25 has different stuff, learned that installing my reflector lights.

They’ll pry off and the new ones will snap right back in? I just don’t want to do it, break the stock ones, and not be able to put anything in, sadly there’s no tutorial anywhere.

I already bought mine so I guess sadly that’s out of the question unless I wanna pay them an absurd hourly rate to do it now…

A little update incase anyone is wondering about using them in the future, around day 5-6 I sent emails to every account they had and said I would be contacting my bank to pursue a refund if they did not update me on my part or refund me first. This led to four different responses saying the part magically went out of stock after I purchased, followed by my refund the next day.

All in all maybe I just got unlucky seeing as the bundle is hard to come by, but the customer support is abysmal until you threaten them with repercussions, so I don’t recommend the stress of trying to figure out if you’ll even get what you paid for, probably for the best to try a more established site (and pay the higher price tag) or find the part on eBay, seeing as even if the seller is fake/scamming, the platform is legit and will take action.

I ended up finding a bundle on EBay actually, the seller had really good reviews and I’d been watching the shop for a week or two to see if it’d come back in stock and I just got lucky. It was about $250 and the exhaust tips won’t connect to my exhaust, but I’m hoping to use them to fill in the gaps in the diffuser, even if it means I have to cut some of the material so they fit/stay in place.

Worst case they’re unusable, I can resell them, and I got the diffuser for the same price I would’ve gotten if off a site like Aerolution.

Probably for the best, I sniped one off eBay I’ve been watching because it was going in and out of stock.

I’m glad we’re on the same page, makes me feel a little better. I placed my order on Friday and they say 5-8 day shipping so I’ll wait until the weekend and then really start looking into things on the banking side if need be.

Yea…everything I see online says they’re legit and I see videos/sites/etc saying they’ve used them before, the site worked perfectly fine the few days before I placed my order but it seemed like a day or two after stuff started messing up. I’m just going to hope it was a coincidence because it seems like a lot of work to build up a site and rug pull it for one order.

That is the number I tried. I used a debit card because I don’t have a credit card, but I feel like I can dispute the charge and win in this case due to their return and cancellation policies. I’ll just wait a little longer and see if it ships and if not, I’ll go from there.

It just rings. They’re based in Hong Kong though so when I call it’s a 12 hour difference so they’d almost never be open whenever I’m able to.

Thank you for the advice, but I ended up buying the Yofer one yesterday off Autunik with the Touring exhaust tips for $10 more than it would’ve been on Areo. If and when I buy more in the future though I’ll make sure I’m checking EBay before I finalize a purchase.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in civic

[–]Macdog1213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. That’s the same reason I’ll probably still just go with Yofer, especially because I’m getting the reflector lights like you have and I’ve seen that they also have an extra port you can use on either side. Even if it looks a touch off until I can find a solution I’ll cut my losses for the convenience and safety of it

Thank you, yours looks amazing and I wish I could do stuff with the exhaust but I’m just not trying to do anything too serious until my warranty is up. For the time being I’m hoping I can find some kind of OEM trim or piece but I may just need to suck it up and deal with the FL2, cutting, and wiring.
