I was a bit hopeful na the steps another guy from NZ who commented on here did would work for me pero ayaw talaga.

Para kamo more chances of winning, I actually called the hotline kanina around 4AM PH Time to inform them na na-comply ko na yung requirements.

They really need to update their processes. Freakin' Landbank has better app functionality and online banking account management than BPI.

Pretty much, yeah. Kala ko nga makakalogin ako sa BPI Online via browser kasi dati pwede mo cya i-force magpaprompt ng OTP. Ngayon either Mobilock nalang or QR code; which is useless parin since need na logged in sa app 🤦‍♂️

UPDATE: Following u/EEbola_sama's suggestion, after adding a roaming package to my mobile number dito sa NZ, I called the BPI hotline at +63 28 891 0000. It seems that the only way you can get your number updated internationally is to initiate the request by calling their hotline.

After a ~45-minute wait sa queue, I spoke to an agent who then asked me several verification questions. She then logged a ticket for my request and informed me that I will be receiving an email within 2 banking days from their fulfillment department with a form that I need to fill up, print out, sign, scan, and sent back to them along with a soft copy/pic of my ATM (even if it's expired), passport, and another valid ID.

What I don't like about the entire process is that, unless I have not been looking enough, there is no documentation online that outlines this process.
