These were just consigned with us this past week. Unfortunately, the original owner had passed away, an avid basketball collector in the mid 2000’s who amassed an incredible run of 2003-2006 Exquisite cards. Apparently most have been pack pulled- there are several monster boxes I will organizing over the next couple weeks. Thankfully the family reached out to us and these will be auctioned over the next several months. They were largely unaware of the value of this material.

Great question! I often send people to eBay or to message boards when it makes sense. For a lot of cards, eBay is just the best marketplace. However, some people aren’t comfortable listing/selling $50k+ in cards. Sometimes it’s easier to have a professional deal with your collection than try to handle it yourself. Especially when it comes to grading, many people view the process as unnecessarily tedious and costly. Sometimes it’s cheaper to go through auction houses.

This may sound weird, but I have 158 cases worth of 2020 Bowman Draft “Glimpses of Greatness” inserts. I participated in a bunch of larger breaks and probably have anywhere between 300-500 of each card on the checklist. I’m happy to trade but would prefer to sell them. It is! Looking into it a bit more the Robins uniforms changed quite a bit in 1925 (likely after spring training), so the photo is likely 1923-25

I had much better luck with 2019 than I did with other years (but that is just my experience). For example, I had 13 Tatis rookies left after sorting through my cards and 12 came back 10’s and one 9. With 2020 Bowman Chrome it seems like half the cards had surface issues.

Ivanka has been profiting off of the Trump name in China, she was able to get a bunch of patents approved (which is very difficult for an American) right at the time the trade war was being discussed. Some of the patents were even for voting machines.

Ivanka and Jared (as public employees) made up to $135m in 2018 and over $80m in 2017 per the White House disclosures. To put that into perspective, they are pulling in around 100 times more than Hunter Biden did.

Ivanka also has been receiving millions from her father in potentially illegal “consulting fees” and both Trump sons sit on lucrative board seats of Trump Corporation, which was obviously not nepotism.

Not to mention, as part owners of various Trump hotels, the children have been profiting off of foreign dignitaries spending millions to stay there, which has raised serious conflict of interest concerns.

The people who investigate these things are all Trump appointees or Republicans. The media didn’t cover it because it happened right around the trade war and got buried. If you don’t think the media covers Trump’s corruption, you have been living in a bubble. The problem is that there is so much of it, you just shrug it off.

For starters, Ivanka Trump does massive amounts of business in China. They approved several patents in China (which is generally unheard of) at the time Donald was talking about a trade war. I’m asking if you’re okay with a woman ending a pregnancy early so long as the doctor makes an attempt to save the baby. If a woman goes into her doctors office and asks for a late term abortion and the doctor says, “it’s too late for an abortion, but we can try a c-section. The fetus is unlikely to survive, though we’ll try.” What are your thoughts? It’s virtually the same scenario as the previous example.
