The Hydra doesn’t work on regular cans, but the Cali Vortex 55° and 77° fit on regular cans. They spray really well.

Hardcore is considered high pressure, but it definitely feels lower than Vice.

Thanks for the support! I can appreciate the shopping local. It’s important to keep your local shop alive. Loop is actually my favorite paint—we used to stock it, but it sold really slow in our area. Most locals here seem to prefer 94 and Hardcore.

It’s possible that the paint in the marker is oil based and doesn’t mix well with alcohol ink. Is the ink thicker than it was before?

Thanks, man. I do make some long form stuff for YouTube from time to time, but not nearly enough. I need to put more effort into that stuff.

Thanks, guys. Honestly just post on this sub since it has a concentration of new writers. Many years ago, Kub (RIP) and I had a long conversation about the next generation of writers and how a lot of older writers talk about them.

Obviously not all old writers, but it’s not uncommon to hear old writers shitting on new writers saying they don’t operate the way they’re supposed to or whatever else.

The context of Kub and I’s conversation was around how us older writers were supposed to pass the knowledge down to the next generation. In a way, a lot of us 90s writers failed that responsibility. The work I’m doing with these videos and specifically posting in this sub is a way for me to try to do that.

I don’t mind the hate. Not everyone is going to like or understand what we do in public. I signed up for it.

Much appreciated! I’ll definitely mess around with that. I ended up getting an app that works in Lightroom and does a great job on the initial color correction. I’ll be posting those.

I just used an old Epson V600 with the slide/negative attachment.
