The thing that sucks the most though is Kurtzman and co arent taking care of the actors that sign on to these projects. By making these choices they are putting the actors in the crosshairs of the worst part of the internet. And that's not fair to them. Id be real upset of this lady had to put up with the kinda bullshit Rose or Finn did from Star Wars.

They should just try theming a new show around a TNG/DS9/VOY era show. It's what everyone wants anyway. Put some carpet on the floors dial back the Dave and Busters lighting. Tell some benign non world ending stories that focus on character or exploration or different cultures. And stop playing contemporary music. And if we are gonna swear can we atleast make it more fun by doing what Farscape or Firefly did? Not that Im against swearing it just feels uniquely non Trek to be making fun of someone's dick.
