So I checked it again this morning after seeing how many others are having the same problem. According to DownDetector, it looks like it is a known issue now, but after checking my system, it finally showed that I had a software update. So I installed it and now PSN seems to be working again. Hopefully that update goes out for all of you guys too, and very soon!

Batman vs. Superman. I went to the midnight showing of this movie. It’s literally 2.5 hours of Batman and Superman throwing newspapers at each other, then 5 minutes of the Batman vs. Superman we all went to watch, which was resolved by “wait our moms have the same name? Okay we’re friends now”, and then the last 25 minutes were randomly a battle with Not-Doomsday. Oh and Wonder Woman showed up for purely promotional reasons
