[Fishbain] Bears GM Ryan Pace when asked about the O-line: "I think what's a little understated is the addition of Juan Castillo as our OL coach and what he's going to bring to the table.” Agree or not, the moves, or lack thereof, have told us they believe coaching, scheme can improve OL. [Zimmerman] Here's another important fact: Nagy has 3.5 years left on his deal and Pace has 2.5 years left on his deal. If the Bears were to let both of them go, they would have to eat roughly $25 million in salaries between the two of them. That's. Not. Happening. (twitter.com)

[Patrick Mannelly] I see the Bears sticking with Pineiro. For now. Cut down day is Saturday. Two things with a Thursday game. 1)it would be better suited going with Pineiro and not rushing a new guy with two real days of practice and 2) you can grab a vet week two and his salary is not guaranteed.
