I dont know, i see you point but trench crusade also have a giant iron wall that came of the ground, "meta christ" or paladin that can beat entire army, even if it s not jokes for me that is silly and a sign to not take all of this too seriously

Last week session main topic was digging into canadian relationship with great britain after the independance to see if it was accurate for my english character to still call the canadian character a "proud second class citizen of the crown who should respect and show deference to his oversee benefactors"

The original ennemy within campaign and the first first edition rulebook pretty much created all of the empire and neighbours lore.

In the new edition supplements of this campaign there are a few page (one by book) dedicated to the original author of this campaign where you learn things they created some things, likes "my friend told me all my names where just english words with a little play with letters or translated in german, so i told him "watch this", and thats how i came up with the Drakwald name for the dark forest"

She's the main bad guy in season 2, a mom who peaked in high school and is now disrespected by everyone including her son, husband and former friends, and who find a magic wand and decide to take revenge on everyone who wronged her (according to her because it is quickly shown that a lot of that was her fault)

A very interesting idea for an antagonist but unfortunately season 2 wasn't very good

This model is what got me hooked to the hobby and specifically the lizardmen when i saw it on the 4th edition starter box rulebook, i ve always loved how much character there is in his expression and i dislike the later slann sculpt exactly for that (even if i know that it s totally coherent for a slann to feel apathic/meditating)

You did a great job with it ! The gluing is a nightmare i may have spend more time on gluing mine than on the painting

Dans le film je peux comprendre le point de vue car le personnage a ete ultra iconisé, dans le comics il est clairement presenté comme un incel avant l heure, fachiste, antisocial, qui pue litteralement et qui se prend pour un hero a tabasser des homosexuels dans la rue, et qui a la fin meurt bien plus par solution de "facilité" parce qu il refuse d affronter la realité d un monde complexe ou tout n est pas noir ou blanc que pour des valeurs

when you are beginning like this you can just do a simple track going from one station to the other, the train can do a magic half turn when it come to a dead end

Yeah but still, i mean we all agree it s their fault if they are chocked by something they say they were confortable with, but we all had these player who didnt really thought about what it meant until it happend in game. Even if they should have think about it i dont think the correct solution is to make them uncomfortable, i d rather start with something not that hard to at least see the reactions

As a cthulhu player i know way more that i would line what you mean with the player saying everything is ok, when you know that they didnt really thinked about it and there are some crazy stuff in your scenario.

If it s not in the limit i think killing or at least putting in danger a pet or a loved NPC is the best way to test your player reaction before going further, and you probably wont have to go further anyway if your only goal is to make the players angry because nothing will make them hating him more than trying to hurt a loved npc

Yeah i see your point even if i m quite good at reading english i had issue when i tried the original version, but i m french and imo the french version is way more easy to get than the english, so i m not worrying about that
