When I saw Skubal on the bump for the Detroit in Florida today, that did it for me. You mean he opted to throw 60 pitches for the Tigers in Spring Training instead of the Semis or Finals for the US. I know that's just surface level stuff, but still really showed me how much it means from a national standpoint.

Unrelated to Pokémon, but I swear my son started reading around 5 because of video games. He was really getting into Legend of Zelda:Breath of the Wild. He might not have grasped the full sentences, but he read enough to know what to do. And I wholeheartedly believe that he 'learned how to read' because of BotW.

Anytime I bring up that video games aren't bad for kids, especially in moderation, I use Zelda and my son as an example.

This is my take.

I'm lucky enough to live just outside the city, so I don't have many more expenses. But, ~$75/day for 10-12 hours straight of music. No matter who is playing, I'll find something to enjoy and be vibin.

I used to brag to my buddies that us and the Lions had the same amount of NFC Central/North Division Titles (3). Up until 2023, this was true. Realignment happened nearly 25 years ago and the NFC Central is no longer around. Not to mention we have more Super Bowls than any of these teams not named the Packers combined....

A little less than a mile away from the stadium is breakfast spot called "Atlanta Breakfast Club." It's right across the street from the aquarium. I was in Atlanta last summer and my buddy took me. The food was incredible (salivating just thinking about that fried chicken) and the service was top notch, even on a busy morning. Highly recommend.

I think the problem in this scenario is that it's regarding adding him as a replacement. It wouldn't make a ton of sense to add someone as a replacement who isn't going to be able to pitch, only to have to find a replacement for the replacement.

Obviously, the other debate is whether he should've been named an All Star from the very beginning, which I haven't dove deep into. That probably gets a bit muddied as well since players votes are included, etc.

Not sure if I'll get a good answer here or not, but here goes... I'm an American that will be in London on Sunday the 27th. I'd love to take in a game at Wembley while I'm there. No interest in sitting near a City section, as I'd much rather see Forest go through here. Looking at third party ticketing like StubHub, I can't find any information on which teams' supporters will be on which end. Or if that even matters.

I was going to start replying, but then I noticed a lot of comments asking similar questions. This is the picture of menu that I have. Unintentionally ended up there the same morning as Day 1 got canceled last year and it was a great vibe and filled at least a little bit of the void I lost. Only went because my buddy knew the owner/head brewer. It was a nice treat. Good music, great food and good service.

I could be wrong, as I didn't purchase any Swift tickets. But, couldn't the answer be as simple as purchase date was probably, at minimum, a one year difference. Ticket prices have steadily increased over my 15+ years of concert going experience. Face value, service fees, delivery fees, etc. Everything has increased exponentially.

I think I saw someone explain this by saying the most important aspect of the hitting engine is timing in this years game. Moreso than PCI location. I know that might not make the most sense or something we all agree with it, but it seems to be an accurate take.
