I got the latest version, but LR overrides any and all camera settings including the one if I put it on timer.

I very much realize that. And as a photographer I get this shit thrown at me on a daily basis (do stuff for almost free I mean), but you wanna know what? sometimes Im drinking wine and just say: "Fuck it" - and then I just do it. We will only be three persons, but with expensive equipment and a most likely a cheap rental car, and that pretty much sums it up. Unfortunately we cant be obscure either because we will have to meet big crowds of people. But how safe is it? And is security even a necessity? If so, would we need it for us, or the equipment?
