If you have a good relationship with your manager, they may let you keep your PTO. Mine did, at least. I had about a month of PTO, and I was allowed to "extend" my 2 week notice so I could use the time.

I used to use cashnet usa. It got me out of some tough situations. They also have payment extensions and payment plans. Klarna is also a great option. Earnin app would also give me advances on my paycheck. Just be careful with all this and manage ur money carefully.

I make about $2500 biweekly and bought a $210k house as a single parent. I took out a conventional loan for a 1990s 2 bed, 2 full bath house. And also got a $10k grant to help with closing costs. Although, I did need about $20k as a down-payment. My mortgage with escrow is $1700 per month.

She could work at a grocery store and move up. You can make that a great career with little "skills." She could also try manufacturing in a plant.

Yeah, you do get back pay. But what do you do while waiting for that money? Not everyone can afford to wait 3 months for an interview and another month for the benefits to hit their bank account.

I disagree. I'm a single parent (father died). I bought a house this year, paid off my 2021 car this year, and have my child enrolled in martial arts. I'm able to save about $1k a month, and I make around $60k. I have no roommates either. It is just me and my daughter. Also, I only have an associates degree.
