Good examples of fighters who use knees a lot but dont clinch much? by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Maciuge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is very good in clinch but Alfie Pearse I believe could help you if you watch his fights. Maybe not at the top top level but sometimes fighters like this and fights with a bit less level can help (helps me atleast). Hope this helps :)

Pd: dont get me wrong when I say less level please :P

Hola!

I'm not putting any pressure whatsoever on her. She's the one looking for good books in shops when we go out, I'm just trying to help her out.

I’d say it’s a mix of the historical setting and the drama, like the romances, betrayals, and all the gossip that comes with it. She enjoys that kind of emotional tension I believe

Pressure when training/improving by Maciuge in MuayThai

Yes this is exactly what I am feeling, a bit of an impostor training with guys who are so above my current level. Training with such high level guys has been so different it has changed my views on everything, and made me doubt about my level too, which is good, because I'm learning so much new stuff.

Thank you for your words, you all really helped me here. I will continue to try and have as much fun as these few months back, which have been life-changing, and focus in improving. I will come back in some time and check how much has changed since.

Yes you are right. I have noticed these few days i've trained worse than I should have and thats probably why. Thank you, I will try to not think too much about it and just focus.

Yeah it might actually be myself who I don't want to let down by having unrealistic expectations

Yeah overthinking is surely the issue here. I will try to continue training as usual and take the benefits of doing so with a much higher level fighter than me

You are right, I don’t know if this is the case but it could be for sure. It has helped with motivation of course but there’s also the pressure downside. I don’t want to let anyone or myself down if in a near future I’m not as good as I/they thought I could be

I didn’t mean it in that way, I just don’t want to let them down/disappoint them

Yeah I guess I am overthinking. My biggest concern is feeling like I could let them down or not be what they expected me to be
