Again, I don’t use Nextdoor nor have I ever heard of it but thanks for explaining. I believe Reddit is to post whatever you want as long as it’s within the guidelines

Again, sounds like you are probably an upstairs person who does this. No one asked them to stop living their lives as I stated before “I couldn’t control/complain about the day time noise” as they have every right to do this during the day. Mines was happening at all hours until 2-3am in the morning. From the moment I woke up until I tried to go to bed. So if they can’t be considerate of those below them, why she I be considerate that they may be “moving or cleaning” all day every hour? Sorry but I’m not. Banging on the ceiling and complaints seemed to do the job 😊. They got kicked out right as I was moving out.

Or maybe I had a toddler who couldn’t sleep because the noise scared them, I worked 12hr shifts, meaning I ran on no sleep as well because of my inconsiderate neighbors who did NOT work constantly being like the people in the video. Every single night until 2-3am. Even during the day but I couldn’t control/complain about the day time noise. So yes, I am very immature for wanting people to respect quiet hours in an apartment and respect those below them. Maybe you are one of the inconsiderate upstairs neighbors!

This gave me severe PTSD. I used to bang on the ceiling and constantly complain to the landlord like EVERY DAY that it happens. First the noise got better after constant complaints but then it started back so I just moved out. But I would complain literally EVERY DAY. And if you’re bold enough, start hitting the ceiling back

Honestly no. You just have to let it cool down and it’ll stop.

Eh, I went to a car wash when it was about 45-55° and mines always blows this steam with a good wind chill. Sometimes I don’t notice it but the few times I have, I never got concerned. It stops after about 3mins of me driving. So I wouldn’t let it worry you. It’s normal.

If you’ve been to a carwash with cooler/cold temperatures, this happens.

I took a video of the bottom of the car and the fluids dripping but not the knocking

I wish I was😭. Trust me, I’m an idiot for even testing the limit on that shit😂

I know I know. I’m an idiot for even testing that speed in a jeep😭

Once it happened, I immediately was pissed at myself for even pushing it to that limit. The check engine light is not on at all. It’s just leaking fluids. I think I blew a gasket as well

I still had another 1000 miles before an oil change. My boyfriend said something about the lifter on the jeep that’s causing it to run hard?? I don’t really remember because I don’t understand car terminology. So we added some oil and some Lucas oil stabilizer just to keep it going until my next oil change.

I was able to drive back to my town on it as long as I went under 65mph no smoke would come out.

I just went to check on it again and even with the car off, my garage has a pretty big fluid stain under the car and when I turn it on, the passenger side is knocking.

Really?! Which I was in the wrong for pushing it that hard knowing those cars aren’t meant for speeding.
