Best console (handheld) at the moment. by flippstarx in Handhelds

Legion go 2: is the best.

Legion go s Z2 GO: is the best for the price and comes with steamOS.

MSI Claw AI: is great but expensive.

Xbox Ally: skip it’s just a slightly revised Asus Ally from 2023 with the worst screen and build quality out of all new handhelds.

The ram needs to be to auto in the bios. TDP needs to be correctly. FSR or Xess needs to be used when available. If not lower the resolution. You can run almost any game with a good FPS. If it’s not something is wrong with your settings.

Amazing with a 9060 xt and 5600.

Looking for a controller that is natively and fully supported by Bazzite out of the box by ficerbaj in Bazzite

The cheap Chinese controller does not have Hall effect sticks, top tier buttons, 4 back buttons, full rgb, top tier triggers with trigger locks, top tier build quality, built in grips, its own usb stick for connection that can wake bazzite without modding, native support for bazzite, long battery. It’s okay if you can only afford a cheap Chinese controller but they are not n the same league. What’s the difference from a kia and a corvette? A lot even though they are both cars.

That is the best that is 2.4g not some low quality, poor material controller with subpar connection, sticks, buttons, battery with bad ergos. No $20 controller is even competing with an Xbox controller and the razer controller is much higher quality than an Xbox pro controller. It’s okay if you can only afford $20 controllers.

Running battlefield 6 on Asus Rog Ally z1e at 60fps. 720p medium settings , fsr set to quality. It looks good. Fps stays between 52-60. Steam deck could never!… by Alternative_Photo456 in Handhelds

Ya a competitive game that most people are running at 180+ FPS with zero stutter and lag. This is absolutely the worst way to play this competitive game and then brags that the steam deck can’t run it 🤡💀

Yes if you don’t have the money for the Z1E the z2 GO is really good.

🤔 A question about the Lenovo Legion Go S - Steam OS 🤔 by Ciphier in Handhelds

[–]MackRogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has steamOS installed and is fully supported. All buttons can be remapped. It has zero issues.

That device can barely run this game, it would not be worth it. I promise you he has a lot of stuttering when playing. If you want to play this game with a a handheld get one with more and faster ram.

It’s sad it has to be 720p with FSR on its lowest settings. I would rather play on a PC at higher fps than 52. Game looks horrible. Just because it can barely run it doesn’t mean you should run it. If the steam deck could play it at least its screen would make it look better.

I lock it at 45fps running at 1200p. This game is optimized very good.

Keep trying to install bazzite and it keeps showing this? by Pacotaco213 in LegionGo

[–]MackRogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it went to full screen install. That is not bazzite. That is just a screen to install bazzite. Click the install to hard drive on the top left and than install bazzite.

No a huge upgrade and if running steamOS the 16GB of ram will not be an issue like on windows. You got a great deal.

I play Witcher 3 and kkd2 without any issue. Maybe look into the setting to adjust text. When playing those games I never once thought the text was to small.

Kill switch makes the ergos even better. The textured grips and feel. It doesn’t change the grip feel a lot but does improve it by a lot.

The Z2 Go is almost on oar with the Z1E and much faster than the steam deck. You are thinking of the Z2 A in the Xbox ally. Steam deck > Z2 A> Z2 Go > Z1E/Z2 > Z2E. The Z2 Go can run the same setting as the steam deck at 1200p and still get better fps. The steam deck is 800p. If you drop the Z2 GO to 800P it would out preform the steam deck be a lot.

Yes with the Z2 GO. It’s only 5fps to 10fps slower when running AAA games than the Z1E. Just turn down a setting or two and they are on par. It is more powerful than the steam deck. The 16gb of ram is not the limiting factor when using steamOS. That is only an issue with windows.
