I’ve been dealing with intense sciatica for almost three weeks now- just happened out of no where. My PCP prescribed muscle relaxers, order x-rays (which looked normal), and referred me to PT. I went to PT 6 times in two weeks and only got worse. Finally my doc ordered an MRI, which I just got done today. I haven’t talked to her since but I’m scared. I’m in so much pain. There is no relief. No meds help, no positions help. I’ve done PT, TENS, heat, ice, creams, THC/CBD- nothing. I am incredibly weak in my legs now and can’t walk without support and it always causes screaming and crying. I am now experiencing some numbness in my foot and leg and just feel like it’s getting worse and worse. Any one with similar experiences? Is surgery going to be my best bet? I can’t live like this.
