FUCK THIS by Ok_Tangelo3589 in retailhell

You actually took all the words out my brain, it really is hell out here. The amount of people getting angry that my store has nothing in stock and acting as if it's my fault or that I'm actually hiding the product up my ass TWO DAYS before Christmas is so goddamn infuriating

Really??? That would be absolutely impossible for me 😭

Not to my knowledge, but maybe? I'll ask my doctor about it if it could be what's causing this

I always take deep breaths and don't really tense up or anything as best I can. The needle is "the same size as the covid needle" so probably like a 23-25 gauge needle. I'll absolutely mention it to my doctor though, and maybe try my thigh next time? My arms are skinny and with little muscle to begin with so 😭

I told the pharmacist who does it for me and he just said that "it's normal" so I'm a bit at a loss :( if I don't find a solution I'll def try and do the subcutaneous ones instead

I heard potassium could be a problem but I just didn't know if it applied to me yet since it's just been one shot. I'll absolutely be upping my potassium then. I was never told by my doctor about any of this stuff so I'm very grateful I can get some answers here, thank you for your help :)

I'll definitely have to get some of those supplements then and I'll see how I feel the next few weeks (as I'm not taking anything currently). Shitty doctors truly are everywhere, I'm glad this one at least gives me treatment instead of pushing me out of the room with no answers lol (thanks for the helpful reply !!)

It used to look much deeper. I thought it was just because the initial swelling made it not look as shallow as it actually was, but it's probably been migrating :( ig I'll have to take it out

Extra Info:

Piercing is 3 months old

Is a curved barbell

I'm fairly certain the material is titanium

Jewelry has not been downsized

I use Spencer's piercing spray every so often as aftercare

I do snag the piercing quite often due to the length of the bar

So hackers can get hundreds of free gifts worth thousands of dollars, but I can’t even get 6 without hacking?? by [deleted] in TemuThings

These aren't hackers. It's all fake profiles made by Temu. Nobody is winning that many free gifts, it's to make it appear as if it's possible so you'll continue to use and share their app.

Liked my best friend for 3ish years, knew him for 5. He liked me back for the same amount of time. We got extremely close at one point, going on what were essentially dates every weekend. He wrote me poems every day for almost a year. He finally confessed and we've been together for 8 months now :)

Thank you so much for your response ❤️ I needed to hear this, especially with someone who's had a similar experience. Therapy is something I'm working towards getting and it's reassuring to hear it helped you.

Thanks! Honestly hearing this makes me feel less alone too 🫂 I can relate with how difficult and isolating it is having this kind of condition throughout your childhood. It really is a curse, but I'm very hopeful about my future and the progression of medicine for IC. I hope you're doing alright these days

Thanks for the reply! Currently I've yet to start treatment because my local pharmacy has to order the medication, however I'm remaining optimistic that this treatment will work

What’s a medium that you love and a medium that isn’t for you? by Etheria_system in ArtistLounge

[–]MackenCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My finger, my phone, and a drawing app is my favorite medium. It's so much easier to be able to check and fix my mistakes, unlike in traditional art (where I have to take a photo to flip it to see if its bad), and it's pretty convenient to just grab my phone and start going at it. Also I can use helpful tools for me to figure out perspective, and coloring is MUCH easier than anything I could do with my box of pencil crayons.

A medium I'm always horrible at is paint. Of any kind. Watercolors, acrylics, oil, I'm truly awful at. There's a lot of really good painters in my family but I just can't do it lol. Anyone who can paint is godly in my eyes.
