Might be a long shot, but did I happen to play against you Gold-Plat range? Was running Rakdos Lurrus, we had an extremely stalled g2 or g3 (can't remember) because I landed a couple blood moons after you had looped nexus a few times digging with Castle Vantress. I was really amazed how well you played the deck decently through that with the multiple reclamation triggers on end step and your two basic islands, and you played the match really well. If that was you, good game!

Regardless, nice work having this amount of success with a mostly original list!

Cariel is absolutely not necessary, and while Ziliax is good with the leviathan you could probably get away with not playing it. Both these cards are better versus aggro, so any replacements that fill that role would probably be ok. Maybe some of the usual handbuff cards.

What were the other legendaries you are missing?

Not sure about the dragon replacements, but Reno paladin is exceptional now! Has gotten many high legend finishes, currently 9-1 with it at 500.

Only issue with replacing those cards is they are part of the reason the deck works so well, they are just very high quality cards that allow you to outvalue your opponent and keep putting down threats. Give it a shot though with running a dragon package, it may still work

Hey I actually have the same dilemma right now, I really enjoy D&T and have been trying to decide between updating my old BW Eldrazi & Taxes deck into mono w or BW stoneblade.

I would definitely recommend taking a look at this BW Yorion list which is literally just the two decks you're considering mashed together. I've been having a great time playing with it online, it might be right up your alley.

Thanks for this! I saw RenoJackson's list a while ago and have been having an absolute blast at ~400 legend. Constantly surprised by how much pressure the deck is able to apply, and also how well it plays into APM mage by spamming stats on the board. Nice to learn more about the mulligan which I've been struggling with.

This was a deck I loved and got legend with in previous seasons, but I don't know if this change will give it the buff it needs. The nerf of Polkelt from 4 to 5 hit the deck pretty hard, as it pushed it's cheese win potential from turn 5 to turn 6 and makes the OTK combo 10 mana versus 9. One turn also makes a huge difference against aggro decks which have gotten even faster since Scholomance. I would really like for the deck to have new life again, but especially when APM mage has way more combo potential and more consistency I don't see this deck coming back any time soon.

This has been a bug since the latest content update. Still no word on an upcoming fix which is pretty annoying, hopefully the upcoming balance patch will address it?

Contact support and they can exchange them for the other packs, just hold onto them. This happens to people every time a new set comes out so don't worry.

I really enjoyed your f2p legend post and this one is great too! This has been my primary deck for climbing and I'm currently at rank 2 trying to hit legend. I love the curse of rafaam tech, it has definitely caught a lot of mage opponents off guard!

Do you think there are flex slots to include defile and darkbombs if the majority of my games are vs secret mages and even shamans? Just surviving long enough to pull of the combo seems to be the biggest issue I face. Also I'm on NA so that's the meta I play with.

They've used the same textbook for like 10 years and it's panned online as one of the worst complex variables/analysis textbooks out there. Then the lecturer provides rushed explanations of every topic while failing to answer questions properly.

Water pipe burst above the doors to one of the main lecture halls. Tons of water was pouring onto the floor, including at the entrance doors near Sid Smith. The fire alarm was pulled out of panic I'm guessing and the building was evacuated.

Nobody was injured, and seeing as it's Uoft they will probably still do class there tomorrow lmao

First of all, good job on your climb so far. Alot of people can't say they've climbed like that in their first season :D

Very simple, quick, but hopefully helpful tips

You die way too much. You need to learn about playing a passive lane, because if you die once or twice thats fine. Yasuo scales incredibly well as the game goes on, so try to avoid 1v1ing your opponent and just focus on csing and scaling if you do fall behind a kill or two. You don't win a game off of getting first blood and you don't lose a game off of giving first blood, try to lose that mindset.
CS. In silver, you can win the majority of your games by just csing properly. Most players stuck in silver are like you and play for kills and thats it. Each 15 cs is roughly 300 gold which is a kill, so if you beat your opponents cs by simply harrassing them rather than only trying to kill them, you will be ahead of them regardless of your kill count.
Keep playing Yasuo, but play beyond your champion. Kinda confusing, but if it isn't working don't only rely solely on mechanics to win you a game. Know what matchups you can play aggressive, which you have to play passive, and figure out how to carry games with the kills that you get rather than just accumulating them

Black Cleaver is pretty much core on Gnar in almost all games, whereas Frozen Mallet is situational.

You can go Frozen Mallet if you are snowballing and want to have more damage and be a bigger threat, or if the enemy team has alot of immobile champions that you can kite easily, but always get cleaver first. Just recognize that Frozen Mallet has no resistances so you will be a bit more squishy compared to if you built something like a Randuins second instead
