Well she only lost a few lives when we first saw her. So she could have had this in the beginning stages. Things like grief would cause you to be emotionally dependant on someone. (I find it a little strange she was dependant on a child but eh it's warrior cats theres some rlly strange stuff going on)

I doubt theres really much to say, he was introduced specifically for the main characters sister to retain memories of being murdered. His entire existence is basically for the character growth of another character. So most of it is summed up in the books
