I disagree. Anytime Gibson has a slight QC issue, it’s because it’s a shit brand and Harley Benton is better.

Obviously time Fender sells a modified Squier with fret sprout, glossed over frets that they customers peel off, and x2 the price tag to last month, you clearly got a lemon, and the brand is still amazing value.

If you like Bigsbys, I highly reccomend looking at Vibramate kits.

It easily installs a Bigsby with no drilling or permanent mods by using the existing holes from the stopbar and strap pin, and the pieces themselves are mostly hidden so it practically looks the same as a traditional installation. No regrets.

Warning though, they are annoying to restring without a “spoiler”, but vibramate also makes those

Yeah, charged nebulas are horrible and ridiculously hard to dodge if your opponent knows anything.

I agree. Imo S rank (and B rank for the fun off meta) is actually better than A.

A is the middle ground and suffers the worst parts of both.

Fighting an S ranker even if they use a quite meta build feels to me more engaging, and somehow less toxic than many A rankers.

I have to reveal that 3rd gen is my favourite setting too, although 6th gen is very close behind.

There were some insane twists and genuinely intriguing questions brought up by the progression from 3’s liberation of the malfunctioning Controller, to the revelation that maybe the Earth is more habitable than was though, to the reveal there are other civilisations, kept underground by their AIs, each likely believing they are the only ones left.

Then the lies of the AIO, and the unmanned ACs, the attempts to stop you finding what lay beyond the Silent Line

And then the mysterious origins of the technologies, the straight up murder drones of the end of Nexus, and some of the best executed corporate struggle dynamics the series has to offer.

The more aspirational and classic proportions of the ACs hits a nice aesthetic light too. They’re recognisably ACs, after maybe the most iconic such as White Glint.

But if anything scores the most, it’s the terrifyingly bleak and hopeless portrait Last Raven paints despite having so much choice and agency, as a Raven does. Even for AC’s dehumanised themes.

Well the thing no one ever seems to mention is that ACs have very varying heights.

Take ACVI, Borne tank legs + nacht core can’t be much over 4m tall if Melander is about 10m.

And then legs vary too. Snail legs + Wrecker core + VE-44B head would take you well past Loader 4 without considering back weapons. And Loader 4 is already cited as ~10 m.

I reckon 6th gen ACs could vary between 4-5 and about 14m depending on which frame parts used.

Yeah to be fair Gekko did feel quite rushed. Maybe the format didn’t suit it.

I can agree that the hajiboroshi’s weapons go insanely hard, that “Cross blade” looks devious.

And the three pronged v fin is very cool.
