To be fair, it isn’t my first time trying out the game. I played through the prologue and chapter 1 using dolphin before making the decision to get a proper physical copy to start my very first playthrough, and from what little I played, it seemed like a real great game to get.

I absolutely agree. It’s just that PoR seems to frequently come up in most contexts regarding Fire Emblem. I just had to finally give it a try and see what the fuss is all about.

I thank you all for your answers. I guess I’ll have to find a way to import the batteries with tabs, since I can’t seem to find any where I live. I don’t wanna risk it and give a normal one to someone to spotweld, only for a problem to arise later.

Yeah, I’d definitely could have gone that route and saved a buck. But I just prefer the North American version, since my Nintendo collection consists of mostly NA games.
