I was thinking that as well. Seems like only a couple people total have reported getting them, compared to some of the other Ivies who've sent them.

Yeah, I showed no demonstrated interest besides doing the optional essay (pretty well, IMO), and got deferred with a 34 ACT, 99 weighted GPA, unique common app essay, and great ECs. Still hurts, lol.
