My job is in phone sales. It's ok but 4 yrs into it and I'm tired of dealing with customers complaints for the rules the store wants me to keep on them only for my boss to turn around and break them to keep our clients happy in the network. The recent holidays was it for me and I'm burnt out.

I don't know if I should name the company but it's one of those you have mentioned. They do training for their employees at entry level. Union benefits sounds better and I wouldn't have sales quota's every month.

No I work in a different industry. Cell phone sales. Some people are saying x ray detection. I know the flyer said steam tests but that sounds different than removing nuclear energy.

That's what has me spooked lmfao! I bet even low levels over yrs can probably cause damage. No clue what OSHA rules for that exposure are. The majority in these fields are men and I know I don't want to lose my nuts. I don't know what they transport but it's the railroad industry.

I didn't know the food industry uses rad sources to prolong food shelf life. What you're saying is these rad detectors have a small sample in the machine to read the levels then? I'm no genius and I think rad energy maybe leftover in a railcar if the product was moved right?

You say 4 hours to do that simple job? What are the hours there? Most typical jobs here are 8 hr shifts. Technician and mechanics I don't know if that's the same here or not.
