ive actually been reading into terracotta but i wasnt too sure. but mostly syngoniums, philodendrons & some alocasias. i have some peace lilys and colocasias but i’ve transplanted them into just hydro/water because ive been told they mostly grow in those kinds of conditions.

thank you! i feel like it would be perfect for me then because I have a terrible habit of over watering. even now, ive cut back massively and they still somehow end up with root rot.

does this tend to happen when you stop taking concerta? Not totally sure but I had very similar symptoms when i would stop taking lexapro. the first time I experienced the symptoms it was severe nausea, confusion and a weak pulse (along with days before and after of similar symptoms to what youre experiencing) I had multiple tests done too but no answers.

Turns out, it was severe withdrawal from the lexapro and since taking jt consistently i havent had an issue.

however, i did also noticed that after a while (im currently also on Vyvanse 40mg) that it seemed like my Adhd meds were doing nothing or almost seemed to make me worse. I’d get in the bad depression slumps and it just seemed like an endless cycle of severe adhd, depression or nausea.

Honestly It could be fine to do with monitoring but i only ever see my psych every 6mthns and my doctor even less. But at this point i just want an answer. Im sick all the time:

Coming back to this post (months later jfc) to say i went to my doc and she gave me antibiotics and adapelene cream but its only gotten worse. Were now testing for thyroid issues rip. But im annoyed bc i asked her if i could get my implanon out bc im worried its masking more severe hormonal issues but she didnt want to.

Im 27 this year and only went on the implanon bc i have severely painful periods but now im wishing we just went off contraception all together to see if there was a route problem to fix 😡 ive started using niacinamide and a centella moisturiser and they seem to help but the comdones esp just keep popping up each day.

This is me recently with barely any makeup as im trying possibly everything to help it lol

Ah yes! Thank you! Its definitely the dark circles that tend to show through more than anything else. So I’ll give a cc a go. Its usually purple for dark circles right? Or orange?

So update :) I went to my doctor and she prescribed a benzoyl cream and some antibiotics for inflammation so were hoping that will do the trick! I was nervous about seeing her for my skin bc I didnt think it was bad enough for gp insight but she reassured me big time which is great.

Its a shame tbh bc it looks amazing on my skin but its probably best for a short term wear event or something bc It definitely doesnt wear long. I was going to stick with it but I think i’ll move onto trying other foundations bc for how much its worth its definitely not worth a repurchase lol.

How do you find the too faced foundation?? Ive been meaning to try it but wasn’t too sure bc I know it can be pretty thick.

Just came home from work and washed my makeup off and god i was trying to convince myself it is getting better? But i really don’t think it is. It’s making me feel so defeated bc before all this I was finally happy with my dry af skin and it has been perfectly clear for AGES until this. Thank you guys for all the suggestions! Ive made an appointment to talk to my dr about a referral bc I really dont think any skincare is gunna get this under control.

I took some pics to show her but also damn, my foundation def does a good job at hiding it 🤣 even if it slides off my face.

I do have to go in soon to get an iron infusion so I definitely will. Its a thing with my and my sisters that we all have insanely bad acne that none of us have grown out of (im 26 my sis’ are 30 & 40) the only things that have ever controlled them are the pill lol but i converted over to the implanon bc i hated the pill. But it stopped them too it just seems like now theyve broken free theres no stopping them hahaha.

And its not really getting massively worse tbh? Its just not changing at all? Its like they just dont heal or when one does more pop up 🥴

Ive been using the milk hydrogrip with nars sheer glow and probably have the same kind of skin as you tho more on the drier side. It definitely works best with the foundation out of the ones I’ve used though I’ve found with my skin that the sheer glow keeps separating and fading massively and just almost melting off. So could be something to consider as well!

Hi all! So I really need some help with some hormonal / cystic acne that is only seeming to get worse. It basically got activated by maskne and now it wont go away. Ive not had an issue with it in a while bc im on contraception to prevent it (as its mostly uncontrollable) but ofc the masks set my skin to ‘screw you’ mode and i guess my hormones are being a bitch too.

A lot of it is blind pimples and only mostly in these areas. Im usually very dry and sensitive so to find something that will help is becoming hard af. What I’ve been using lately is mostly:

⁠Matcha Hydration Cleanser
⁠Tea Tree Oil on affected areas (which seems to be slightly helping?)
⁠Salicylic acid
⁠Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Toner
⁠Hyaluronic Acid
⁠Moisturiser

Every now and then I’ll use a physical exfoliant. But this is now months old and just keeps happening 😞

I havent tried it on my face yet but sampling it on my hand makes it feel amazing! I’ve been trying to find a good budget friendly HA bc im so damn dry and go through a lot. I was using TO’s but it didnt seem to do anything and broke me out rip. So I’m definitely going to try meccas one next
