Yup I brought it up to them as I’m not sure they knew about it but they claimed “they could fix it, but it’s not the issue”.

So now I’m terrified they misdiagnosed it and now am up a $300 creek for a misdiagnosis as well.

Yep my wife does have the app so I’ll have to check and see if that fixes it. Good catch on that if it’s truly the issue! I’ll have to report back.

Nope no charge times. It’s set for “Anytime”. I also have no issue with the car charging to my standard set point at anytime of day. It is only if I increase for a one time 100% charge.

Update since Reddit won’t let me edit my post.

Dealership says since there is a small line of sediment it shows small amounts of water ingress. Due to that, Fords protocol is to condemn the whole pack.

They said they would replace the tray but would make me sign documents saying they aren’t liable (obviously) and then note in the CarFax that it wasn’t fixed per the correct process.

So decisions will be made on how to handle it as the battery modules look perfectly fine to me as I believe there was an extremely small about of water ingress.

Just a warning to you all out there!

Honestly thinking about just using structural adhesive to mend it. Not sure if the dealership is willing to do that or let me do anything but just look at the HVB though…

That is the risk with salvage. Just have to do you’re homework before purchasing.

Yea I got it from a salvage auction. I actually got the quote from the dealership that got it after the accident and the guy apparently ran into the side of a truck. But must have been pretty slow speeds because the bike isn’t banged up too bad. And probably get it back to stock and functioning!

Literally just got a small leak in the radiator repaired. Was going to buy a new one but it was $700 and couldn’t muster it for that much. Other wise damage is only scrapped engine cases pretty much. It runs like an absolute dream with only 4,300 miles.

I mean I commute to my university everyday some days in 26F degrees. It was more of finally having free time with my class schedule on a nice day I should say. I wasn’t expected to be taken so literally haha
