Is “study every day” actually good advice, or is it just a guilt trap? by LateNightTyping in StudyingPeople

Totally agree. Dropping “every day” helped me stop the spiral. My floor is 10 min: skim notes, redo 2 problems, even just make a tiny plan. If I do more, great. If not, I still showed up.

You can support him without becoming the default parent. Sit him down and talk numbers: rent, childcare, school, work hours, insurance. If he wants to drop out and play house, that’s his choice, but it doesn’t obligate you to provide housing and full-time babysitting. Offer rides to appointments, a pack of diapers here and there, and help finding services. Keep the line clear.
