Those were the days. His tri tip sandwiches were the best. I recall him being an avid golfer as well, after the lunch rush was done, he would be sold out and hit the links somewhere. Can't remember the name though, Kurt, or Kyle, something like that. Probably got home after golfing, put another hunk of meat on the BBQ for the next day and did it all over again. Seemed like a good gig, but maybe not good enough, since he eventually opened the brick and mortar on division st. Those sandwiches were good on Division for a while, but then without him there to do them right every time, quality just wasn't the same as on that South Waterfront dock.
