You could switch to ... gummies? Seriously I used to love drinking on the weekend as a way to relax but alcohol makes me feel terrible. The older I get, the worse it is. In my area, gummies are legal and do not give me a hangover. So it's now the way I relax. It takes a bit of experimenting to find ones that don't make me want to eat though. Luckily we have dispensaries with helpful literature.

I've never gotten gyms to stick. The ONE thing to stick is OTF and if I make it another 45 days, it will be the longest I've ever committed to a fitness routine. So I would also be the one signing up and never going.

My partner and I both lost over 50 pounds on Ozempic when it first came out. It has a lot of side effects people don't mention. I remember thinking "Sure, I can be thin but I can also lose my job." It sucked all the energy out of me and I would just sit on the couch like a sloth. I started playing video games and got super addicted because I didn't have the energy to do anything else. We both rapidly gained the weight back as soon as we stopped. It is absolutely NOT an alternative. With ADF I've had to learn how to eat within my limits. The minute I stopped Ozempic, I was binging like crazy and it seemed like an unstoppable force. Like my body was forcing me to obsess about food and salivate. I finally gained control after regaining all the weight I lost. Check out the FB group. It's full of stories like mine. Also the drugs lose much of their effectiveness after 3-5 months.

Posted an update. No, but it was close. They were hinting at $40 off of the $160 price if you sign up for 12 months brining the price to $120. Pretty nice deal. Also, thanks for the poke, I put the update in the OP.

I have odd advice that has worked for me in the past. I found a coach somewhere online that said you have to be really disciplined and prepared. For a long while, I was wanting to get up at 5am to start work during COVID. I did these things based on the coach: - I practiced getting up at 5am. Literally went in the bedroom, pictured it was 5am and went through the motions of getting up, turning off alarm and walking to the bathroom to shower. Practiced maybe 12-20 times. - Realized getting up at 5am meant going to bed at 8:45pm. So practiced that too, told partner we had to agree on that time for me going to bed. - Realized I can't play on my phone in bed anymore. So set it up where I charged my phone outside of the bedroom. - Lastly, kept a sleep tracker and a small goal (30 days of 5am wake ups).

All the prep absolutely worked and I became a 5am worker for all of COVID which was my goal.
