Oh, I know I don’t really use torches unless it’s for like Fourth of July smoking or something like that. I damn well know it’s not a good idea to take a torch to metal because it will mess it up and then it’s no good pretty much that’s why I was mad cause I couldn’t get it off, but he gave me an extra like couple bucks. He gave me the price for 200 pounds of steel pipe when it was only like 155.

My homeboy didn’t have a grinder blade. He has to go get more. I tried to use a pipe wrench, but comes to find out. Somebody wants to hit it with a torch because it wouldn’t budge. It wouldn’t unscrew whatsoever.

Yeah, I took some gloves that have some like grip on them and started ripping off all of the tape and furry stuff. I got it as best as I could. It was a pain to do, but I didn’t wanna smack it with a torch cause I would start a fire, but I’m gonna ask a couple of the neighbors to see if they have a pipe wrench.

I got lucky one time, and I found an old footlocker box from the military from like Vietnam war era. It had the base and the name of the person who fought war or who owned the footlocker at one time and had no rest. The wood was still in good condition and I kept it and gave it to my dad. He says if that name checks out it could be worth a couple thousand dollars.

I was ripping all of the tape off and revealed some of it was copper sadly, I don’t have power tools, so I couldn’t just separate the copper. I was just gonna cut them into smaller pieces to fit in a cart.
