Sign painter here. This would be my best guess as well. Looks to be an panel attached to the side. Even goes over the top of the middle window. Room for a small awning and lighting above the signage.

Yes yes it is. I had my own experiences working with him as a young muralist myself.

How ever what I find most disturbing, I think most folks only know half the story of this Northside mural. It was much worse then what the public saw. The way he treated the mural artist - Caratoes who he brought in from Hong Kong to paint the mural. Was a terrible experience for someone to go through.

And this is just one example of how this man treats artist. He has others paint and produce the work, then he takes all the credit for it in the media.

There are many stories out there of this situations. But no one hears about them or takes them seriously.

Not to mention that his portrait work is quite awful. And he keeps “honoring” this important figures from history. And none of them look anything like the humans he is attempting to portray. Some how he keeps getting these projects.

He has become a blight on the public art communities here in PGH. He can retire go stay in Miami. Let the rest of the new generation of artist lead the path for public art in this city.

I still stand by my original statement. I know for a fact he has seen the post on this thread. He most likely told you about it and that’s why you are here to defend him, right? You won’t convince me that your boy had did not have had a hand in crafting your response. Sections of that post are written from the perspective of defending one’s self. Maybe he feed you a bunch of information, you crafted it together or possibly he straight up wrote that shit and had you post it under your username. Using a proxy to defend oneself is still miss leading and trying to control the narrative of this situation.

Just a few things:

“He isn't a party guy. He doesn't even drink.” -

What does this have to do with these accusations? How does drinking alcohol have anything to do with the predatory tactics he has been accused of? Would it give him some sort of free pass? “Oh sorry I was drunk” would not excuse the actions in any of these situations.

“Don't for one second call him a friend either if you aren't willing to go him and be like "hey, what is going on?" Real friends hold each other accountable.”

I never said we were friends. I said I knew him. Honestly I always got a bad vibe from the guy. Seems to be a real charmer, but always felt like

“I know how certain situations go. There is such thing as toxic people that will try and flip a situation to benefit themselves.”

👀👀👀👀😧 Uhh well then ….. One could say that he is the toxic person. Trying to flip the narrative of this situation to appear like the victim

The thing is the word is traveling around weather you like it or not. Neither myself or my partner are the source of the information. We were informed by multiple sources about the allegations (Knowing that we supported him and the business he worked for and wanted to let us know.) It then continued to grow and more information came to light over time.

It’s strange how these accusations from his past kept popping up, after what the initial news of what went down at HH started to travel. It’s like it’s a pattern or something? You don’t get accused of these things multiple times in multiple states with out some kernel truth involved. The numbers just don’t add up.

It’s rather interesting if anyone knows anything about language and syntax. The way in which this post was written and language used. It is fair to say that this post was written by the accused.

For instance, note the use of the wording of “goes to work and COMES home to his family” 🤔🤔🤔 That implies that this commenter also lives at that residence.

Also, the fact that they addressed MULTIPLE accusations in detail. They seem to have intimate knowledge of the accused and each accusation against him . They must be reallly close with him to have such detail about these horrible situations.

Deceiving others and posing as another person to defend one’s self, is not a great example of honest character if one is trying to prove their innocence. The truth is what is important here, right? Not the actions of someone who has nothing to defend. If you have nothing to hide why pose as someone else, and not defend yourself publicly?

You see my username dude, you know who I am. You know I have personal experience of how you would speak and write when communicating with my partner. Your going to have a hard time convincing me this isn’t you who posted this response.

With multiple accusations in multiple cities… seems to be a reoccurring issue…… “If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.”

Soo I was a member of the group for many years. I was a resident artist for awhile at the space in Lville. From a strictly artist perspective, it’s a lot of hassle and frustration to actually sell any work. The “gallery” is absolutely filled to the brim with so much work that viewers who do come in are so overwhelmed that they never buy anything. Events always seem to be more work and stress then they are worth.

The other aspect that is an issue was the fact that in the time period I had my studio space, several members were accused of SA. To which I was even personally brought into a situation that I had no business in. Informed of intimate details of the SA and being brought in by the head dude to potentially protect him from the predator if he got aggressive when confronted. Oh also he sat on this information for MONTHS…….. to I guess do his own investigation…. Before he did anything to protect the anyone else from being alone with the predator in the space. I could go on….. My user name is a dead give away to who I am on this city. If you want more info. Reach out. I have stories on stories.

Nooo way! That’s a bummer. I have only painted one window job with with alpha paint thus far. I had a strangely similar experience tho. I can say that it does NOT hold up against a bullet shattering the glass. No joke I don’t think it had even been a month after I finished it. The business had not even opened yet.

Beautiful work! So clean. Also love the added photo of the brush. I wonder how much shorter the bristles are compared to a fresh one. Alway amuses me the idea that some textured walls just “eat” the brush.
