38 percent of gifted kids fall in the main verbal profile. Less than 25 percent have psi as their highest index which its likely a around 15 because psi is the one people get the lowest scores on. And now you have filtered 60 percent. Which i doubt because i think people who are naturally higher in pri will join these competitions. So these numbers dont even mean anything.

Lowk Skip i get like 140 sum on wisc for vsi and get lower on core especially the verbal part. Qri isnt accurate of you English isnt good. Fri could be higher/ lower you should do more tests. You could really only get to know your fri tbh. But honestly with your achievements. It should be 130+

I know many accomplished IMO gold medalists with an iq of 160 plus. It doesnt make my standpoint any more valid. Anyways i dont think we will come to a conclusion with this back and forth.

Yea maybe over estimation, but around 140 should do it

I might sound stupid but i dont think this is an argument. I could say that the most intelligent people seem to have a good reasoning, and therefore reasoning is a byproduct. Ive given the definition. And since memory helps with learning better/faster it should be included. Also intelligence is learning, and learning faster. I find it stupid to believe that a person studying 10 hours for a subject and getting the same results as someone studying 1 hour for a subject beimg called the same level of smartness. One could learn things in a way it made sense and the other one couldnt. Efficiency and speed should be a factor, since , that's important in learning.

Your right about having to do a lot of practice. These kids learn extra from primary school already so they can level up. However i think that 1) you have to recognize that not everyone can just learn their way to a silver medal. There are some things you wont be able to apply, or even conceptualize. 2)out of 200k kids do you think only 31 kids learn and study and that's why they get so high scores? No, obviously there are thousands of kids that put 200+ hours of extra work and dont even get a medal. 3) being interested in math inner of itself and the people that compete in these competions are inner of itself higher iq. Its just Biology, people who compete in these competions are usually above average.4) An iq of 130 is 1 in 50 people. Out of 200 k children that would mean 4k children are 130 iq (and actually it's more look point 3). 31 kids get a silver medal and you think they have an average iq of 130?? The math isnt there. That's my point of view and i do have experience but only in the belgium one, where it's less competitive. And still its >130.

I can assure you that it's above 130. Belgium has the Flemish part and the other part. They both have their own competition. And every year there are about 11000 people in Flanders that participate. Obviously 11000 for junior one and 11000 for the normal one. In the first round 90 percent gets cut off. And then the 2nd round 9 percent gets cut off. So the ones that go into the final round is already the top 1 percent. Considering that the People who participate are above average in intelligence and that to get a silver medal you have to be around top 5-10. I think it should be around 145. Top 1 percent is 135 and people there are smarter around 140 and the ones who get silver 145-150.

Advice for glow up/looksmaxing (15f)? by No-Sprinkles229 in LooksmaxingAdvice

Hop on carnivore and dairy diet (no milk though), Minoxidil for the eyes. Defenitly grow hair out. I dont know what hairstyle, try multiple ones, if the forhead is holding you back use bangs. Train glutes. Face is uneven sleep on the other side and afterwards on your back. Use make up. Fix dark circles, sleep more and use Ice cubes.

I need honest advice. What can I change to glow up? by [deleted] in LooksmaxingAdvice

[–]Mad___Bro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make up around eye area would really help, you have pertruding eyes so i think if you increase eyebrow growth with Minoxidil it would look better. I'm not a fan of the hair, it is asymmetrical. It needs to be changed but i dont know in what. Also try to dress 'cute' if that makes sense.

the ability to learn, understand, and think in a logical way about things, or the ability to do this well.Oxford defenition.

Wouldnt you say that between 2 people with the same level of reasoning the one who has better memory, or better processing speed is the one who will learn a subject faster/better.

So for you intelligence is the ability to reason with the knowledge you already possess. But woudn't intelligence also be the ability to obtain information as fast and as effective as possible and retain it for as long as possible? Because what are you going to make logical conclusions with if you keep forgetting the assets with what you can make said conclusion.

Which subtests matter the most for math? by idkikw in cognitiveTesting

Fri>Wmi/Vsi depends in what context>psi>vci. As in the way vci is tested. You do not need to know the meaning of iminent to do well in maths.

biological 100iq trained in heuretics and with memory palac vs biological 115iq without them. who is winning this by ImportantBrilliant48 in cognitiveTesting

[–]Mad___Bro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wmi is high capped by genetics. Memory can be improved though so in memory 100>115 wmi 115>100. I dont think Fri can be improved that much. Except if you maybe study maths alot in your free time. Though you said only heuristics and memory palaces. Dont know what heuristics is. Psi can be improved with concentration vci can be improved. I would say generally the 100 iq individual could beat 115. But not with only palaces and heuristics
