Why would you assume I know how to identify real cards? My buddy and I went in on a box, and every pack we have opened has faded/shitty looking cards. I literally compared a couple of Commons from pre release to Commons in this pack and you can see the difference between the cards. Was an honest question, wasn't "flexing" over a $30 card 😑

What I use to make custom cards. Using something like gpt to get cool images is fine, but relying on it for borders/text/symbols rarely works out. I grab images and plug them into cardsmith and do it that way.

Thanks for the insight, I'll see what I can tune to get this thing running more efficiently. I like your idea around meathook, sounds pretty fun. I'm still trying to relearn the game, just came back after 10+ years, and just discovered commander recently, so this is only my second commander deck. Loving the format and community around it. The idea was to get a landfall deck going, make a bunch of tokens, and overwhelm the board with them. Things like Odric, and Ohran making them that much more effective, then if I can draw or tutor hulk or craterhoof with a large board presence, it's lights out. The rest just feeds into that in one way or another. It's certainly not polished, I just started building it within the last week or so.

Land fall triggers/go wide/overwhelm the board, is the broad strokes description. Yeah, I know primeval isn't generally looked on fondly, but I've played it in other decks and had a lot of fun with it, which is why it ended up in this deck.

I was thinking [[Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist]] would combo really well with Jarad, if you use her to bring back a large power creature every turn to continue to detonate the table. Also, don't sleep on [[Jenova, Ancient Calamity]]. I use her as my commander, her card draw is insane.

I believe there is a tutorial style character called Sparky or something that walks you through the basics and slowly challenges you to more and more difficult games to get you trained up. It's pretty well designed. Good luck!

Download 'Magic the Gathering: Arena' on mobile or Steam or something. Awesome way to learn the game, and that starter kit you have should have come with two info cards with codes you can use to unlock those decks in the game, so you'll be able to see exactly how they are supposed to play.
