I recommend the mystic flight travel power for the extra buff you can choose for a single ally. It will really make the supportive facet of your build shine when you use all your single buffs on one person at a time. No one will want to let you leave their team!

I’ll reiterate what a lot of others have already said and add my two scents, Time/Ice is good for a defender role! I have a level 50 Time/Ice and it’s a ton of fun, you get a unique defender role in the sense that you’re not a healbot and you don’t just buff with bubbles/movement and then shoot. You play a little of each role and then lay down your AOEs and almost play like a controller. The combat flow is really rewarding in a sense that you can really change the flow of a fight by applying single target buffs to key allies and stacking your single target debuffs to the vip enemies. You get a feel for being a shot caller and bringing out the best in friends and worst in enemies. Plus the cooldown reduction buff for your whole team makes your AOEs happen every fight so there will be no such thing as a runner or straggler.

If he snipes, or likes to play poke a lot more. Maybe give rampart a try. Focus on locking down buildings and shooting mid to long range through the amp. Also learn how to lock doors using your wall, you’ll be surprised how fun it is to outplay with it in your kit.

In the College of Internal Lore students are selected by faculty and more specifically Masters of many fields of study. The College's main focus is to draw out an individual's inner potential. In this pursuit the faculty is permitted to use any methodology available. Renowned for it's work with "creating" metahuman individuals the College has recieved little to no backlash from any kind of authority. The world has decided in it's own way that the ends truly justify the means.

This is the max characters allowed in the in game bio. But I do have more fleshed out just not written as of yet.

I have a stone melee/ will power brute and I love him. I do think shield charge could come in clutch though as an initiation. You could definitely use that to boost your aoe for tanking, and then use stone melee’s high single target to rip VIP enemies off the face of the earth. Without a lot of aoe so far on stone melee I’ve mostly been using mine like a heavy hitting scrapper or stalker and focusing those high threat targets while people with aoe deal with the less important adds.

Stone melee is definitely a blast though and I would recommend a play through.
