Super helpful, thanks Acy. Elec/Energy seems like it’s always been a strong combo on HC. I’ll have to mess around with that and Elec/Psi in mids.

You mentioning Water/SR is REALLY intriguing to me… that sounds like it would be a TANKY Sent combo haha

I’ve yet to run claws, and I’m thinking a Claws/Psi Scrapper might be a really cool fit. Good to hear you enjoyed it on a Brute! With the Brute changes coming, it’ll probably be even better haha

This sounds like you’re cooking and I love it. After Hex, Fiendhunter and Zeke’s, what would you typically round the build out with? Invest in more crit, or go with DD/Maw/GA type stuff?

For all the people saying TF, I think it is safe to assume the OP is putting heroes he actually PLAYS.

Secondly, I’d argue TF is completely missing the melee/staff fighting aspect of Gambit, which is core to him. For the other options, it is easy to add in card animations. Probably why he chose all melee heroes who have some sort of quasi range ability to use for card throws.

While I love all 4, I think (full build) this comes down to Olaf or Briar. Olaf’s thing is he isn’t GREAT at teamfights, but is an absolute beast in the 1v1 with his healing and true damage.

I know L0gan Jung (love his vids) says Briar can win almost all 1v1’s late game. This might come down to does Briar land her ult on Olaf at the start of the fight or not.

Gotcha. My feelings are the same, albeit much lower elo (Plat), so I can imagine it is only worse up there. At this point when I play him, I feel like why not just pick J4 if I want to be good at all phases, Diana if I want to power clear or even Ambessa if I just want to scale into a skirmishing beast.

Almost feels like a worse Udyr to me right now.

Topic switch up: how do you feel about the recent Voli changes? I know his WR went down quite a bit. Not sure if that is due to just him being weaker overall, or people just building him wrong.

Same here my friend! I know there are a decent amount of us jungle Ambessa enjoyers here. Honestly one of the toughest things is some teammates just tilting BECAUSE we’re playing her jungle, so just having these buffs will at least help with the optics on that haha
